DIANA by Todd Ortbring is a one-of-a-kind, mixed media tribute piece featuring the Motown legend and former member of The Supremes - DIANA ROSS. This creation includes the use of vintage photography, typography and collectible music related memorabilia. The unique work is created on stretched canvas and features mounted collectibles to the canvas including a black and white photo of the Supremes signed by Diana, an original concert back-stage pass, a concert ticket stub (1991/Detroit) and a series of commemorative stamps. The large figure of DIANA is hand painted using metallic acrylic paint. Additional embellishments include 2,000+ rhinestones and 100 red garnet gem stones. The piece is secured and centered in a custom-built frame bordered by newsprint clippings from various publications related to Diana’s career and enhanced with recessed red rope lighting.
